Nissan Develops New Supercharged Hybrid System

Auto maker Nissan is working on an advanced supercharged engine that will be matted to a hybrid powerplant for the upcoming Nissan Leaf, along with other models.

This new hybrid, which will be available at Superior Nissan in Conway  one day, connects a supercharged 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine with CVT transmission, electric motor, and lithium-ion battery pack.
